Cancellation & Refund Policy

Scope of this policy

Wellworth Investment Services Pvt. Ltd. (AMFI Registered Number ARN-369383) distributes third-party investment and insurance products, including mutual funds, PMS and AIF investments, corporate fixed deposits, fixed income products, insurance solutions, broking assistance, NRI services, and merchant banking assistance.

We do not manufacture these products, hold your investments, or operate a payment gateway on this website. Transactions, units, deposits, and policies are issued and serviced by the respective AMC, insurer, issuer, broker, or intermediary under their own terms. This page explains how cancellation and refund requests related to our distribution assistance are handled.

Our service charges

We generally do not charge you a separate fee for distribution assistance; our remuneration, where applicable, is commission or trail received from product providers and disclosed as required by regulation. Because there is usually no direct payment to us, there is usually no refund due from us.

If a separately agreed and invoiced advisory or service fee ever applies, its cancellation and refund terms will be stated in that specific agreement or invoice and will prevail over this general page.

Cancelling an enquiry or meeting

You may cancel or reschedule a consultation, callback, or meeting request at any time before it takes place:

• No charge applies to cancelling an enquiry or meeting.

Mutual funds, SIPs, and other investments

Once an application is submitted to the AMC, registrar, or issuer, cancellation, exit loads, lock-ins, and payouts are governed by that provider's documents:

• New Fund Offers (NFOs): cancellation or withdrawal is possible only within the NFO window and as per the scheme documents.
• Lump-sum and SIP instalments: stop, pause, or cancel future SIPs through us or the registrar before the cut-off; units already allotted can only be redeemed under the scheme's exit load and tax rules.
• ELSS, retirement, and close-ended schemes carry statutory lock-ins and cannot be cancelled early.
• Corporate fixed deposits, bonds, PMS, AIF, and unlisted products follow the issuer's premature-withdrawal, lock-in, and transfer terms.

Insurance free-look and cancellation

Life, health, and general insurance proposals and renewals are issued by the insurer. The IRDAI free-look period (as stated in your policy document) allows cancellation within the specified days of receiving the policy for a premium refund after permissible deductions. After the free-look period, surrender, foreclosure, and refund terms of the insurer apply.

Share your policy number with us at info@wellworthinvestment.co and we will help you forward the request to the insurer, but approval and timelines rest with the insurer.

How to request help with a cancellation or refund

To help us act quickly, include:

• Your full name, registered mobile number and email address.
• Product name, folio or policy or application number, and transaction date.
• Whether you want to stop future instalments, cancel a pending application, or redeem or surrender an existing holding.

Timelines and refunds from providers

We forward complete requests to the relevant provider on the same or next working day. Redemption proceeds, maturity amounts, and premium refunds are credited directly by the provider to your registered bank account, typically within the timelines stated in their documents (often a few working days, longer for certain debt, insurance, or unlisted products).

Deductions such as exit loads, stamp duty, STT, taxes, stamp charges, medical or administrative costs, and market movement between application and processing are decided by the provider and cannot be reversed by us.
